A comedy short that takes place in the fantastic world of the Spanish Playing Cards where we are a fly on the wall during a weekly government meeting where royalty gathers together to play cards.
This short has a powerful message and it was meant to be released on YouTube prior to the 2024 elections in Puerto Rico. In the first week, it garnered 15K+ views, now over 42K. It also participated in a series of well-attended public screenings and festival participations. Winner of the LOLA Award at Philadelphia Latino, Arts and Film Festival, at the Lusca Fantastic Fest it won awards for ‘Best Local Sci-fi/Fantasy‘, ‘Best Screenplay‘ and ‘Best Special Effects‘, Official Selection in Puerto Rico Film Festival, Vieques Human Rights & Film Festival, and International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival.
